Pat lives in Brunswick with his 3 sons Michael, Kevin and Daniel.   He is an attorney and leads the Municipal Practice at Bernstein Shur in Portland. His first experience with musical theater was playing Scrooge in last year's MYT production of A Christmas Carol.  He also played Simeon in May 2007 in Studio Theater of Bath's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Anderson kid, Caroler, Angel Choir  (Rowan H) 
Rowan has been interested in writing and producing plays since she was three years old. She attended theater camp at the age of five.  She sang solo performances in both her first and second grade school plays and is a member of the third grade choir as well. Rowan was a chorus member in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Chocolate Church.  She earned her orange belt in Tae Kwon Do on the 17th of November. She would like to give special thanks to the cast and crews of the past, present, and future for providing so many thoroughly enjoyable theater experiences.
Ghost of Christmas PresentGhost of Christmas Past (Amanda M)
Originally from Texas.  Played Maria in West Side Story with Pannington Players in NJ; Connie McKenzie in A Chorus Line in El Paso, TX; and performed various roles with Shakespeare-on-the-Rocks in TX.  Made her Maine stage debut with The Studio Theater of Bath as the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Dreamcoat.  She studies voice with Becky Beck Akins.

John is an Occupational Safety Engineer with the State of Maine and has been seen on stage as  "Brother Levi"  in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat  in 2007
A special thank-you to my wife for taking care of the "stuff" at home while I'm off rehearsing.  A special shout out to my kids.  I hope they enjoy the show.
Ghost of Christmas FutureGhost of Christmas Future  (Pam T) 
I come from Freeport and am the mother of two wonderful daughters who got me hooked on theater…I am also lucky enough to have a super supportive husband.  This is an especially special show for me, because it was due to this show last year and the generosity of Mr. Scrooge that my daughter met her future husband and we now have a December 21st wedding about to sneak up on us!  I would like to personally say “Thank You” to everyone who is involved with MYT (most especially Henry Eichman) for making these wonderful opportunities happen for all of us…and also for letting me do my favorite show of all time last summer!!!  (Seussical was a blast, wasn’t it!!!).  If you have not experienced MYT, try it…YOU WILL LIKE IT!

This is Abbey's tenth play.  Her hobbies include acting, karate, sledding, and reading "Harry Potter." She would like to thank Henry, Elaine, and Becky for making this show possible.

Panto Girl, Acolyte, Little Ghost  (Tessa H)
I'm Tessa.  I have two brothers, Zack and Ben; and two dogs, Echo and Paxton.  I love acting and singing!   I have been in three other MYT shows (Once on This Island, A Christmas Carol 2006, and Seussical!)  I have also been in The Wizard of Oz at school.

I live in Brunswick and I am an accountant at Downeast Energy.  I played Mrs. Fezziwig in last year's production.  I would like to thank my daughter Mandy and my friend Kathy for encouraging my theater participation.  Thank you all for sharing our experience.

This is my second time doing Christmas Carol and my third show with MYT.  The other show was Crazy for You.  Other shows that I have been involved in are Jeckle and Hyde, Joseph and the Technicolor Coat, Annie, Bugsy Malone, and Fiddler on the Roof.

Elizabeth preformed in her first play in 3rd grade and also performed in the MYT production of a Christmas Carol last year.  She has is taking Piano and is in the Girls Choir at Studio 48.  Elizabeth enjoys drawing, swimming, lacrosse and climbing the ledges on Orr’s Island.  She was chosen for the Gifted Art program at BMS.  Elizabeth enjoys reading manga comic books and drawing her own manga cartoons

This is my second show with MYT, as my daughter Tessa and I did A Christmas Carol last year also.  I would like to thank my husband for his total support as Tessa and I wreak havoc on all our schedules at this incredibly busy time of year

This is my third show and my second show with Midcoast Youth Theater.  I was in the Children's Choir for Joseph and the amazing Technicolor dream coat.  I played JoJo in Seussical.  I love to ride my bike, swim on swim team and downhill ski.  I love to perform!

I love to have fun and hang out with my friends.  I've been busy lately with this play, snowboarding, and girl scouts.  In the spring I enjoy softball, biking, and climbing trees!  I would like to say "thanks" to chico, chex, mearbear, boo, bellybutten lint!   I LOVE YOU GUYS!

I was in A Christmas Carol last year and I'm glad to be back.  It's good to be back with my friends from last time.  I've Been in other school musicals and am in one of the high school's choirs.  Musical theater is important to me and I'd like to thank everyone that supports me.

Mary performed in the MYT production of "Suessical" as a Who and the Elephant bird. Mary loves to sing and dance. She studies ballet at the Ballet School in Topsham and has danced in "A Mid-Summer Nights Dream", "Something Lost, Something Found" and "Blackberry Winter". She has also performed in school musicals including "Honk", "How to Eat Like a Child" and "School House Rock".

Made his stage debut at age 4 as the changeling boy in A Midsummer Night's Dream with Shakespear-on-the-Rocks in El Paso, Tx.   He has performed in various shows with Studio 48.

Although my children participate in many theater and vocal opportunitities, I have not been on the stage in about 12 years. I am finding this experience challenging and rewarding at the same time. Thanks to all the hard work and people who make these shows happen.

 I have been in productions of Peter Pan, Grease, Jungle Book. Wizard of 0z and Christmas Carol 2006. I am glad to be part of the show this year.

Fishmonger, Drunk   (Barbara M)
I have been in productions of  Sound of Music, Wizard of Oz, the Wiz Grease , Christmas Carol 2006.   I'm glad to be back as a part of the show.  I would like to thank the cast and crew.

Ghost, Rich Woman, Partier, Elf, Sailor's Girl  (Merissa  M)
I love acting.  I am very excited to be doing Christmas Carol for the second year in a row.  I also like to read, ride my bike, do gymnastics, and play basketball.   I have been in plays and musicals since I was really little, but my most recent ones include ,Friends Forever(2006),Fiddler On The Roof(2006), Christmas Carol (2006), Wizard Of oz(2007), and The Big Picture(2007).

Tiny Tim (Jesse S)
He sings in the choir at St. Paul's.  He plays the alto sax in school.  He has been in numerous plays at Studio 48 (Broadway Review, Music Man, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Annebella Broom).  He also did A Chrismas Carol last year with MYT.  Jesse enjoys playing the piano, singing, and reading.  His most favorite thing to do is play hockey.  He will be singing the National Anthem at the Portland Pirates game in December.  He hopes to do many more plays with his Uncle M-N-M (Mike Millett)

 I enjoy singing, dancing, theatre, and gymnastics. I have been acting and singing since I was 4. My most recent roles include last year Tiny Tim in Christmas Carol 2006,  a dwarf in the Hobbit, and Paula in How to Eat Like A child. I am excited to play new roles this year and want to Thank everyone who makes this show happen.

Anna  has been acting in community shows for the past 5 years.  When she is not on stage acting, you can find her dancing at The Ballet School, singing at Studio 48, ice skating (and teaching skating) at Bowdoin College, tumbling at Midcoast Gymnastics, or participating in school activities such as lacrosse, student council, and chorus.  Thanks to Becky Beck for encouraging Anna to be a “triple threat.”

Claudia enjoys playing her guitar and singing. She collects pigs and has a collection of over one hundred of them. In her spare time she practices guitar, sings, and hangs out with friends from school. Her family consists of her mother, father, twin sisters, and an older sister. This is her first M.Y.T. play and she hopes to be in more in the future!

Mr. Fezziwig  (Newton D) 
Before last year’s show, I hadn’t been on stage since 1992, when I played the Norwegian Amunson in “Terra Nova”.  As an undergraduate at the University of Maine at Machias, I was involved with productions such as “House of Blue Leaves”, “Spoon River Anthology”, “Oklahoma”, and “Marat/Sade”.  I currently live with my family in Topsham.  I am playing Mr. Fezziwig again due to an injury…fate tips her hand!  It’s wonderful to be sharing stage energy with this talented cast and team of directors!  Thank you all for your help and dedication to our show!  Happy Christmas

I have been blessed to share this experience with my daughters, Kaitlyn and McKayla, and my niece Annabel.  This is the first time in 15 years that I have performed on stage.  A great big thank you goes out to all of the people from Mid Coast Youth Theater who make this happen.  To all the cast and crew..."break a leg!"  Happy Holidays to all - I love you Russ, Kaitlyn, and McKayla.

This is my third family show with Midcoast Youth Theater.  I love the performing arts, especially singing!  I'd like to thank MYT for the opportunity to be on stage with my son, Ben.  I would also like to thank Henry and the amazing MYT Board for their continuous, tireless work in bringing the theater experience to local youth.

This is my second performance with MYT and some of my hobbies are soccer, basketball, jaz, tap & ballet, dancing, and acting.  Just recently I took a babysitting course, so if you need a babysitter ...(hint, hint)

I enjoy singing, dancing and writing stories.  This is my second time being in the Christmas Carol by MYT.  I want to thank Elaine and Henry for a wonderful time.   Please, enjoy the show.

I  like going to my camp.  I like Christmas!  I like to play in the show.  I like swimming.  My sisters are Aiden and Amelia.  My brother;s name is Ansel. My petis Skittles.

I would like to thank my mom, bobby, mimi, mawgi, and everyone else who has supported me.  My auntie peachie who helps me with my singing telling me what to do better and that sort (my mom does the same).  I LOVE to sing!  Its always been one of my dreams to become a famous singer/actress!  I love karate and I am in chorus!!  I have been in Pinochio, Honk, Seussical and A Christmas Carol 2006.

This is my 10th show!  I've been on stage with Henry since age 5.  I love acting, singing, dancing and performing for a crowd.  I also like basketball, soccer and hanging out at the Teen Center.  Many thanks to Henry and the entire cast and crew for another fabulous show!

Grace  (Danielle N)
Danielle Nickless, age 12, and is in 7th grade, at St. John's Catholic School in Brunswick.  She is playing Grace Smythe, in A Christmas Carol.  She most recently played Mabel in Annabelle Broom, at Studio 48, in Brunswick, ME.  She studies voice and piano with Becky Beck-Atkins, and dance with Sybil Moulton at Just Dance.  She performed the role of Marian Paroo in Studio 48's production of The Music Man last summer.  Danielle also performed in Midcoast Youth Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol last year, and Alice in Wonderland, Annie Jr. and Cinderella, theatre workshops at Studio 48.  She has performed in two plays at St. John's School, Hee Haw Hayride, and When in Rome.  She enjoys dance, singing, theater, and boating.  She would like to thank everyone involved with the production of A Christmas Carol and for the opportunity to be part of the cast.   I hope you enjoy the show everyone!!

This is my third theater endeavor, the first was with the Theater Project and the second was with MYT's production of Seussical as one of the Whos.  I enjoy biking, studying history--especially the Medieval times, reading, science, annoying my mother, and playing with my dog, Tessa, the Darth dog.

 I like to do ballet and I don't like spinach.  I like being in the play, and I like my costume.

Sarah has always enjoyed drama and is often involved in elaborate backyard skits and movies, but this is her debut performance in front of an audience.  She is so thankful for this opportunity.  Her favorite book series is The Chronicles of Narnia.  Someday she would love to visit Narnia and chat with Lucy and Aslan, but barring that scuba diving with her uncle in Guam will do.

Brandy  is a full-time student with Elizabeth Drucker at the Ballet School.  Brandy is also apprenticing with Elizabeth Elizabeth.  Brandy has been dancing since she was three years old.  She is a home schooled student in the town of Topsham

Dante is a pisces.  He enjoys long fireside conversations as well as candlelight dinners.

You may recognize me from last year’s production of A Christmas Carol when I played the Ghost of Christmas Past.  I’ve been in several other MYT productions and I also do theater at Brunswick High School.  Since this is my last year here, I’d like to say thank you to everyone and that I will miss all of you.  Hugs, hearts, and kisses.

Some of you audience members may seem to recognize last year’s Mr. Smythe as this year’s Mr. Smythe.  Well, he is.  Yes, Thank you very much.  Basically I have been acting since the 6th grade and I’ve been involved with MYT, CCAC, Cheverus, and St. John’s School theater programs.

I have not been in a play since 6th grade.  My favorite sports are soccer, skiing, figure skating, and I'm starting to like basketball more.

Rich Boy (Lucas D)
This is my second time on stage.  Doing a play is a lot of work, and sometimes it’s boring waiting, so I kept changing my mind about doing the show this year.  I had to think of a lot of things to be doing while I’m on stage, since some of my roles don’t have any speaking parts.  It’s fun acting with my Dad and Mom though.  Thanks for coming to our show!

Tabitha enjoys reading, painting and writing. Her best friends are Katelyn, Dana, Lyndsay, Elizabeth, Topher,and Ashley. This is her first MYT play and she is so excited for her friends and family to see it! I love you Topher and Tina!!

I love to act, sing, and dance.  This is my 2nd with MYT.   I am taking singing lessons at Studio 48.  I have been in the school choir since 5th grade.  I have done talent shows since second grade.  In my spare time, I love to hang with friends, read, talk on the phone, and shop.  I would like to thank my mom, she is my hero!
