Bird Girls - a flighty group of young women
who love to follow Horton around

Rebecca   (Gertrude) likes to act, sing, and play sports.  This is her 4th play with MYT and she loves it.  She was also in her school’s production of Honk Jr as the bullfrog.  She sings in 2 choirs at school as well as in the Southern Maine Children’s Choir.  When she’s not singing or acting, she likes to play basketball (is her favorite sport), soccer and sometimes I tennis.  Rebecca would like to give a special thanks to Henry, Pam, Sarah and her mom & dad for encouraging her and believing in her to do her best.  “Thanks for making Seussial come alive!”
Julia   (Mayzie) adores acting and singing, but most of all singing.  She is a girlie girl and loves the color pink.  She also enjoys things like basketball, soccer, softball, writing, drawing, and loves hanging out iwth her friends.  When she gorws up she hopes to be involved in acting or singing.  Julia would like to thank all her family and friends for believing in her and helping her out. ...Thanks for coming .... "enjoy the show!"

Emily (Bird Girl) has been in eight plays so far and hopes to carry on with the direction of Henry.  She would like to thank everyone involved in the production.
Anna (Bird Girl).  This is Anna's 4th MYT musical and she  would especially like to thank Becky Atkins for encouraging her to audition.  

Hannah (Bird Girl) .  This is Hannah's fourth season with MYT.   She has also been in four musicals at Studio 48.  She likes hanging out with her friends, playing soccer and reading.  She would like to thank Henry for all the work he has put into this play.


Isabella (Bird Girl) Besides acting and singing, Isabella's favorite things are modern dance, violin, swimming, orienteering, shopping,a nd figure skating.


Elizabeth (Bird Girl) has performed in Once on this Island, Philip Wsugg, the Suessification of Romeo, and The Actors Challenge.  She likes to surf the net and ride horseback.  She can never get enough of the show Lost...just ask her friends!


Hannah (Bird Girl) is a hometown girl who has been a teen idol finalist (singing) for two years in a row now.  This is her first play and she hopes you enjoy it as much as she does.


The Who's - Tiny Little People

Evan   (Citizen of Whoville) .  This is Evan's first show with MYT.  We would like to thank him for joining Whoville!

Christopher  (JoJo)  enjoys singing, reading, and long bike rides.  It's been a lot of fun rehearsing for Seussical.  This is his second musical and he is sure it won't be the last.
 
Emily  (The Grinch) .  This is Emily's 5th production with MYT.  This has been a great experience and lots of fun.  She would like to say "Thank you" to Henry, Pam, Mr. OP and all those who get everyone ready to put on the show.

Joshua  (Mr. Mayor)  is very involved in acting.  He loves to sing and dance and make people laugh.  This is the fourth play Josh has acted in.  He would like to thank his mom and dad for letting him pursue his acting career .   Bio Disclaimer:   I am Josh and I approve of this message.

Hailey   (Mrs. Mayor) loves to act.  She has been in school choirs and band.  She loves to play lacrosse.


Elijah (Citizen of Whoville) ,  This is Elijah's first show and he can't wait for all his family to see it!
Harley   (Citizen of Whoville) likes to draw and fish with her grandfather.  This is her second play and she has enjoyed a lot.  She would like to say "Thank you for listening and enjoy the show."
Abbey   (Citizen of Whoville)  has been involved in theater for three years.  She enjoys reading Harry Potter, karate, sledding, and acting.  Other musicals she has been in include Fiddler on the Roof, Annie, Cinderella, Music Man, Sleeping Beauty  and A Christmas Carol.

Rochelle   (Citizen of Whoville) likes doing plays and meeting new people and has a lot of friends in this play.   This is her second show with MYT.
Simone   (Citizen of Whoville)  This is Simone's  second play with Henry, the first was A Christmas Carol.   She says this play is a lot of fun and that Whoville is too bright!

Alexis   (Citizen of Whoville) loves softball and spending time with her family. This is her first time in a theater production and she loves it. 

Claire   (Citizen of Whoville)  loves to read, especially the Harry Potter Books.  When you can tear her away from books, she can be found on stage.  This is her fourth play.   She would like to thank everyone who came to see it.
Olivia   (Citizen of Whoville)  loves to go sledding.  Summer is her favorite season.  She is having a lot of fun with this show (her first with MYT).
Caroline   (Citizen of Whoville)  is  in two choirs and plays the violin.  Her favorite pets are her two hampsters.


Ali   (Citizen of Whoville) is performing in her second musical with MYT and thinks it is a lot of fun.  In CYT, she can really express her feelings!   Her favorite sport is soccer.  SShe hopes to do this again next summer so that she can continue with the fun she is having now.  Ali sends a big thanks to Henry, Pam, David and Sarah for making this show possible.
Mary Yvonne   (Citizen of Whoville & The Elephant Bird) has performed in three musicals and three ballets.  She loves animals and wants to study Zoology.
Sarah (Cindy Lou Who)  loves to climb trees, loves her cat Babe, swimming, flower fairies, designing fary houses, soccer, drawing, coloring, and any other type of art.  She loves being in this production!

Kaitlyn   (Citizen of Whoville)
Aleena   (Citizen of Whoville) .  Some of Aleena's hobbies include ballet, tap, jaz dance, soccer, basketball, and of course....Acting!
Erika   (Citizen of Whoville) .  This is Erika's first show with MYT and we have enjoyed having her with us.

Sam   (Max)  Sam I am!  Seussical is her second performance iwth MYT.  She enjoys working with Henry and the group every summer.
Jessica   (Citizen of Whoville) enjoys singing, dancing, and art.  When she is not writing songs or designing clothes, she spends time wiht her puppy Ronan and friends.

Jungle Citizens
The story tellers - keep an eye on them
Teresa (Jungle Citizens)  loves acting and has previously been in Flapper, Once on This Island Jr and A Christmas Carol.  In her free time she likes to play trumpet, piano, and Irish dance.  The would like to thank everyone for coming and enjoying the show.		  
Gabrielle  (Jungle Citizens) is overjoyed to be in her second play (her first was Romeo and Harriet )  Gabrielle would like to say “Thanks” to everyone for their support.
 
Chelsea  (Jungle Citizens)  has been in one other musical, she was the fox in the Pinocchio.  She loves to play sports, her favorites are basketball and soccer.		  
Alyssa   (Jungle Citizens) enjoys singing and acting and is always reading.  This is her second year with YMT and she also enjoys being in plays at school.  She has been taking dance classes for three years.  Alyssa also has a "thing" for getting into tight places.
  
 Cassie  (Jungle Citizens) loves acting, singing, and dancing.  She also enjoys soccer, lacrosse, swimming and playing the flute.  In school her favorite subjects are writing and reading.

  Aurora  (Jungle Citizens)  loves dancing and singing.  Last summer she starred in a blueberry documentary called "Blueberries with Aurora Dolham."  I hope to someday be famous worldwide.
Courtney   (Jungle Citizens)  loves to sing and act.  This is her first MYT production.   Her other interests include soccer, karate, dance and Girl Scouts.  Courtney hopes to be in more plays in the future.
   
 Sequoiah   (Jungle Citizens) is doing her third play with Henry.  She was also in  and Lady Pirates of Captain BreeOnce on this Island.  Thank you for coming!
 
Kalyn (Jungle Citizens) thinks it has been so much fun putting together this show, and she loves it!  She has had a wonderful summer.   She would like to thank everyone who comes to enjoy the show.
Morgan   (Jungle Citizens) has studied dance for seven years and has participated in school chorus.  She has performed in one school play and two Missoula Children's Theater productions.  She hopes to perform on Broadway someday.
Nadine   (Vlad Vladakoff) loves the Red Sox and plays softball, soccer, and basketball.   She has been in three other plays (Flapper, Lady Pirates of Captain Bree, and Once On This Island...all directed by Henry).


Hannah (Jungle Citizen) loves to sing!  She has sung in church, in the Southern Maine Childrens Chorus, as part of the children's choir for Joseph at the Chocolate Church.  Hannah is excited to be in her first MYT production.

The Wickershams
A mischievous bunch of moneys
 who are up to no good.
Azaria  (Wickersham)  likes tossing a lot of the time.  She would like to tell everyone "hello" and "Thanky ou for coming.   Enjoy the show."

Dan loves acting and singing. He has been in The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree, Once on This Island, and  Seussical with MYT and has done several musicals in school. He plays tenor saxophone, clarinet and jazz piano. Thanks to Henry, Pam, and Mr. OP for a great show.

Tessa  (Wickersham) says being a Wickersham will be the best because they get to be mean, crazy, and silly - and she is normally crazy and silly .  This is Tessa's third MYT show (and her 3rd with Henry). Tessa has two brothers (Zack and Ben), two dogs (Echo and Paxton).   She thinks this play is going to be awesome.  Monkey's Rock!!
Baxter   (Wickersham) likes the outdoors and playing sports.  This is his third appearance in an MYT production.

Mike   (Wickersham) has been a part of MYT productions for the last three years and he loves it.  He also loves to play baseball, route for the Red Sox (Go Sox!) and plays trumpet for his school jazz and concert bands (and also plays in The District III Band).  He enjoys swimming, camping, boating, and of course acting and singing.  He is  also looking forward to doing the production next summer.  He would like to thank Henry, Mr. OP, Pam, and his parents for another great experience!
Philip   (Wickersham) certainly loves to monkey around.  This is his first show with MYT.
Zach   (Wickersham) is a very funloving young man.


Ben  (Yertle The Turtle) is in his ninth show and loves every aspect of music theater.  He has also started studing martial arts...so watch out!...and enjoy the show.
Eli  (Horton)  has been in school plays since grade 3.  This is his second year with MYT.  He also loves to sing with the Southern Maine Children's Choir and plays saxophone.

Addie  (Sour Kangaroo) has wond Topsham's Teen Idol for the second time last June.  She sings with the Southern Maine Children's Choir and plays trumpte.
Corrinne  (Young Kangaroo)  loves to read, write, and swim.  Her most recent performance was in Joseph and the Amazing Techni Colored Creamcoat.  She hopes everyone enjoys the show.
Abby  (The Cat In The Hat)  is in her second production with MYT and she says, "I love it!!"  Abby loves to act and sing and hopes to further her "career" with more plays and musicals.  Abby would like to thank Pam, Henry, David, and Sarah for giving her the chance to perform as The Cat In The Hat!!

Emily  (Thing 1)  As thing 1, Emily leads the pack in mischief and mayhem.  This is her kind of play!
Sarah  (Thing 2) Thing 2 isn’t acting…this is real…but she does love to act!

Ryan  (Tech Crew) likes to read, play video games, and use the computer.  This is his first time being involved in  a play.
