Willy Wonka (Dan Plumer) is an enigmatic character; at once mysterious and mischievous but also charismatic and engaging. The actor should be able to be funny and serious and change between the two on a dime.

Candyman (Ben Proctor) is Willy Wonka's twin who loves to dish out the candy and entertain people.

Charlie Bucket (Alexander Kamphorst)  is the emotional heart and soul of the musical, full of pluck and enthusiasm.

Grandpa Joe (Mike Shuman) is the grandfather we all wish we had when we were Charlie’s age. He is caring, patient, sweet and always reminds Charlie to remain cheerful. He is kind and funny.

Mr. Bucket (Nathaniel Vilas) performs the number “Think Positive” with Charlie and Mrs. Bucket sings “Cheer Up, Charlie” with Mr. Bucket and Grandpa Joe.

Mrs. Bucket:  (Belle Fall)  a  natural nurturer.

Penelope Trout (Teresa Murphy) is the reporter who announces the winners of the Golden Ticket contest throughout the show.

Sound and Technical Crew (Evan Lichter and Hank Gilson)   Responsible for filming Penelope.  These characters are always seen primping, fussing with camera and sound equipment to get just the right "angle"

Augustus Gloop (Jesse Sherwood) is the overachieving eater who represents the evils of eating too much. Either a boy or a girl acting like a boy can play Augustus. Augustus sings “I Eat More!” along with his mother and Penelope Trout.

Mrs. Gloop (Hannah Vilas)  is Augustus’ mother who has overindulged her son with food. She accompanies Augustus on the tour of the factory, and sings “I Eat More!” with Augustus.

Mike Teavee (Christopher Walfield) is not just a TV junky. He is also addicted to video games, the Internet and any other mind numbing technological device. Mike is bratty, loud and obnoxious. He does not know the word “no.” Mike and Ms. Teavee sing “I See It All On TV”

Mrs. Teavee  (Evelyn Atwood) is a take on all television moms of the distant past. Think June Cleaver (Leave it to Beaver) or Marion Cunningham (Happy Days) or even Carol Brady (The Brady Bunch). She’s perfectly put together and a bit vacant. She sings “I See It All On TV” with Mike.

Violet Beauregarde (Mary Yvonne Sasso)Gum chewer extraordinaire, Violet hails from Snellville, Georgia, so it’s nice if she has a Southern accent.  Violet is more of a blue-collar, middle class brat. She sings “Chew It” along with Willy Wonka.

Veruca Salt  (Nancy Madarasz) is the wealthy, class-conscious, spoiled brat. She is often portrayed with a high British accent that is by no means required (brats come in all nationalities). Veruca’s solo number “I Want It Now” is deceptively tricky

Grandma Josephina (Gabrielle Bouthout)  One of Charlie’s three grandparents.

Grandma Georgina (Tabitha Barnard)  One of Charlie’s three grandparents.

Grandpa George (Michael Latti)  One of Charlie’s three grandparents.

Matilda (Aleena Blankenship) is a Candy Kid and schoolmate of Charlie’s, but she’s a bit of bully.

Julie (Jessica Wright) is also a Candy Kid and schoolmate of Charlie.

Mrs. Beauregard (Julia Nadeau) is a teacher of geography and has invested a great deal of hard-earned money on therapy for her orally fixated daughter, with less than stellar results.

Mr. Salt’s (Josh Guerrette) solution to most problems is to buy his way out. He is upper class, and usually portrayed with a high British accent.

Melody Finch (Merissa Madarasc) a delightful news anchor for station WMYT.

Garland Conifer (Azaria Dotson) a crazy news anchor for station WMYT.

Candice Corn (Claudia Barnard) a news reporter for WMYT.

Oompa-Loompas:  Fun, delightful characters who appear everywhere and out of nowhere in the chocolate factory.  They love to dance and solve puzzles.  Ali Parker, Alexis Belling, Amberly Shea, Anna Turner, Aurora Dolham, Caroline Nickerson, Elijah Bernier, Emily McCracken, Emma Mattingly, Emma Nickerson, Faith Allen-Harris, Fiona Hoang, Forrest Blankenship, Grace Barnard, Griffin Tibbitts, Hannah Day, Kaitlyn Prophett, Madeline Mattingly, Madeline Suhr,  Mason Smith, McKayla Prophett,  Molly Guerrette, Morgan Sciacca, Riley Gilson, Sarah Belling, Steven Schuman, Tessa Hauptman.

Candy Kids  :  Multipurpose role as these characters love to eat lollipops, sing with the Candyman,  dance with Augustus Gloop and Charlie, play video games with Mike, and masquerade as squirrels and spiders.  Abby Parker, Alyssa Curit,  Bianca Giron, Brooke Smith, Celeste Bouthout, Corrinne Latti, Courteney Miller, David Zimmerman, Emily Emerson, Emma Berkowitz, Hannah Cain, Hannah Zimmerman, Kelsey McLean, Kristin Sullivan, Mac Labee, Marissa Wing, Mary Allison Mattingly, Megan Smith,Nadine Bellevue, Rebecca Schuman, Samantha Menair, Sarah Emerson, Sequoiah Jacobs.
