Henry Eichman (Director & Choreographer)
has been President of Midcoast Youth Theater for the past five years.
Henry is active throughout the area in youth theater,
he has directed all but two of MYT's productions since its
founding. Henry has served as a past director for Merrymeeting
Community Players, he has been one of the Directors at Mt Ararat H.S. for the
past ten years, Lighting Designer for Brunswick H.S. for five years; Lighting
and Sound Designer for the Orion Performing Arts Center since it's opening,
Sound and Lighting Designer for Lisbon Community School for the past 2 years;
Lighting Designer for LL Bean’s Sunday With Santa for 5 years,
Director for the first two St Johns School
productions and Technical Assistant for the rest of their theater programs until
this year when he will again resume the role of Director. Henry is
also involved with various independent productions around the
area. During the few remaining daylight hours, Henry is employed as
a landscaper with one of our generous show sponsors, Rocky Hill
Landscaping. Henry is the proud parent of three children and four
grandchildren with his loving wife
Lennie.
Pam Tondreau (Choreographer) has been involved with MYT since it beginning and has been active
in community theater for years as a choreographer, costumer, musician, and has
even been known to be on stage a time or two. Pam enjoys getting her "kid fix"
and working with the children's program along with Henry and Mr. OP in the
summer and currently has the privilege of serving on MYT's Board of Directors as
Secretary. Pam's hobbies are watching her husband, Larry, up on his Kioti
building a gokart track (can't wait for the fun of zooming around it!!!), doing
embroidery, and cruising around in her purple Camaro.
Mr. OP
(Music Director) David Olsen Pietrowski has taught elementary choral
and general music for 20 years and he is currently happil working at
Woodside Elementary School. Besides teaching music and playing
the piano & banjo, David is an avid cycist and looks forward to
bicycle touring every summer with his wife Kate.
Emily
Bowie (Stage
Manager) is immensely involved in Theater, having performed in
four plays this past year, and Fiddler is the third she has assistant
directed. She performs for MYT, Mt Ararat Stage Company and the Theater
Project. Fiddler has been such a great experience and she thanks all of
the kids for such a fabulous time, they're going to be wonderful. Shout
out's to her parents and brothers (one of which starred in
Aristocats!), thanks for everything; and Henry, expecially, for
everything he's taught her. To everyone else: Enjoy the show!
Eli Bush
(Lazar Wolf) is from Topsham. This is Eli's 3rd musical with
MYT. He enjoys singing and playing the saxaphone and basketball.
Zack Fisher
(Motel ) is an honor student and active
participant in student council, soccer, and basketball. At his
school he has played Merlin in The Knights of Rad Table, Daddy Warbucks
in Annie Jr., and Narrator 2 in the Brothers Grimm
Spectaculathon. At Community Little Theater he is currently
playing the Beast from Beauty and the Beast Jr. and was the Mayor
of Whoville from Seussical Jr. last summer. He played a young
pirate in Studio Theatre of Bath’s performance of Pirates of Penzance
where he learned professional sword fighting. He played the
coroner and a winkie in Studio 48’s Wizard of Oz. He was Baloo in
the Fiddlehead’s Art Center’s production of the Junglebook for
Kids. Zack loves acting, but is most passionate about musical
theater and dreams of playing on Broadway one day.
Lilly Gardiner (Chava).
Ever since starting dance classes at age two, Lilly has dreamed of
growing up to be like her mom. As she grew up,she has watched her mom
perform in many shows and now she is a choreographer. Lilly's mom was
in the play Fiddler on the Roof and got the part of chava. When Lilly
auditioned for Fiddler on the Roof, she surprisingly got the part of
Chava. So far Lilly has had a wonderful time doing this play and she
hopes to do it again next year.
Hannah Cain
(Townsperson) is excited to be in her third performance with MYT.
She is from Brunswick and enjoys horseback riding, reading, and
spending time with her animals. Hannah would like to thank Henry,
Pam, and Mr. OP. She hopes that everyone enjoys the show.
Sophie Simmons
(Golda) is from Brunswick. She is
excited to be joining Midcoast Youth Theatre for the first time,
playing Goldie. She has performed in a few productions at the Merriconeag
Waldorf School and is thankful
for her family's support and friend's encouragement.
Charlotte Cooney (Townsperson) is from Brunswick. This is her fourth show ever, and her
third show with MYT. She plans to fit in all the plays possible her
soccer and lacrosse schedule. Charlotte hopes you have a great time
watching them perform!
Rebecca Schuman
(Townsperson ) is performing in her 6th show with
MYT. Some of her favorite roles include being a Newsboy in
Flapper, Molly (the happy pirate) in The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree,
and Gertrude Mcfuzz in Suessical. Aside from acting and singing,
some of the things Rebecca likes to do in her spare time is playing the
tenor saxophone, piano, basketball, soccer, and cooking. She
would like to thank Henry, Mr.OP, Emily Bowie, and Pam for helping to
make the show the best it can be!!
Tessa Hauptman
(Yente the matchmaker) is from Brunswick. She has been in six
plays with MYT before this one. She has also been in two plays
with school. Tessa says that Yente is the best part she has ever gotten
in a play with MYT and she is really excited! Tessa has two
brothers (Zack and Ben), and two dogs (Echo and Paxton). She
likes to act, sing, dance, write, read, play trombone, bike, play video
games, play with her dogs and many other things. Tessa hopes you
enjoy the show!
Hannah Zimmerman
(Townserson) is from Bowdoinham. This is Hannah's third year
with MYT. Hanna has been seen in Seussical (Birdgirl) and Willy
Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Chorus). Along with MYT, Hannah has
been in two musicals for Mt. Ararat Middle School. They are Music Man
(Eulalie Macecknie Shinn) and Brodway Review (Belle from Beauty and the
Beast). Along with music, Hannah also enjoys soccer.
Dash Jorgensen
(Sasha) is from Brunswick. Dash likes soccer, acting, lighting
& theater, and movies. Dash is interested in special effects and
directing movies. Thanks MYT!
David Zimmerman (Feydka) is from Bowdoinham. This is David's second show with MYT. He likes pie.
Hannah Vilas
( Townsperson ) is from Brunswick. Fiddler on the Roof is her
15th musical production. Some of her previous shows include: Willy
Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, A Christmas Carol, The Wizard of Oz,
and The Music Man. In her spare time she enjoys reading, hanging out
with friends and playing Clarinet. Thanks to everyone who made this
show possible!
Meg Sawicki
( Townsperson ) is performing in her second show with MYT. As well as acting,
Meg likes to swim, read, draw, and go to the beach. Thank you Henry for
all the work you put into the show!!!!
Alyssa Curit
( Townsperson ) is from
Topsham. This is her 4th season with MYT and she really enjoys
it. In her spare time she LOVES to play basketball, field hockey,
and she is going to try lacrosse this year. She also enjoys
reading and writing, going camping and hanging out with friends.
She would like to thank Henry for making it all happen and Mr. OP for
getting everyone on key, and Pam for getting us all coordinated with
the dance moves! Alyssa is already looking forward to next year’s show!
Ally Collins (Shprintze)-
moved from Massachusetts to Topsham in November. She has a brother and
two sisters. She loves acting, art, and her pets. She also likes all
the opportunities here in Maine.
Kate Lord
(Mama, Villager) is from Brunswick. This is her first play.
She loves reading, daydreaming and hanging out with her friends.
Kate has also been in 9 ballet recitals, and enjoys being on
stage. Kate has been having a great time with rehearsals for Fiddler on the
Roof.
Claire Mendes
(Innkeeper) is from Brunswick. Claire is active in Band and Show
Choir and plays bass clarinet as well as piano. She has
participated in many plays, most recently in the production of Annie,
Jr. this spring. In addition to the performing arts, Claire is an
avid reader, participates in track and field (pole vault, discus,
racewalk), bike riding and roller blading.
Natalie Schmidt (Tzeitel)
lives in Bowdoin, Maine. This is her 2nd production with
MYT. She is very interested in theatre though she doesn't have a
lot of experience. She loves to draw, write, rollerblade, and
play with her cat, Salvador. Thanks to Henry and everyone else
for such an opportunity.
Judah Merrill (Constable) is from Bath maine. He likes pizza, football, music, and skate boarding!
Jessica Wright (Villager)
is from Harpswell and this is her 3rd show with MYT. She loves
spending her summers with her friends singing and dancing and is
especially excited this year to be performing in one of her favorite
musicals. A big thank you to everyone who works so hard to put
this together every year, especially Henry.
Evelyn Atwood
(Townsperson ) is from Brunswick. She has been in
two other plays wtih MYT and five plays with other groups. Evelyn
hopes to continue prforming with MYT. Evelyn has one sister and
three cats.
Deidre Sachs (Townsperson ) is
from Freeport and she loves acting. Deidre plays flute, sings in lots
of choirs, and this summer she is also in the play Alladin.
Nadine
Bellevue ( Townsperson ) is from Brunswick and she has been in
seven plays directed by Henry (Flapper,
Lady Pirates of Captain Bree, Once on This Island, Jr; Seussical, Jr.;
Willy Wonka, Jr.; Gone With the Breeze, and now Fiddler on the Roof,
Jr.). Nadine also performed as the dog, Sandy, in
Annie,Jr.). "Thanks so much Henry !"
Matthew
Estabrook (Perchik ) is from Falmouth and is devoted to music.
Matt is thrilled to be part of Fiddler on the Roof as
a poor traveling teacher who accidently falls in love with one of
Tevye's daughters. Matt enjoys skateboarding and swordplay.
Matt also
plays nine different instruments and enjoys singing with the Boy
Singers of Maine. This will be Matt's second musical; his first
experience was playng Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys & Dolls.
Amberly
Shea
(Bielka) is from Brunswick. She enjoys tennis, basketball,
jumping on her trampoline, playing the piano, singing, dancing, and
performing. This is Amberly’s fourth show with Midcoast Youth
Theater, and she loves it! Past MYT shows include A Christmas
Carol, Willy Wonka, Jr., and Oliver. She has also performed with
Studio 48 in Disney’s AristoCats and in June of 2009 played Annie in
Annie Jr.
Amberly is very excited to be in this show. Amberly would like to
thank Henry, Pam, and Mr. OP for all of their hard work and her family
for their encouragement and support. PEACE.
Mary Yvonne
Sasso (Townsperson) is in her fourth production with MYT.
She has been previously seen in Seussical, A Christmas Carol, and Willy
Wonka Jr.
Mary has been dancing ballet for 8 years and is now dancing on
pointe. Mary also loves to play softball, ice hockey, and loves
to read and just hang out with her cats, Percy & Grover. Mary
really enjoys all aspects of theater..."I love it!"
Ben Proctor
(Tevye) has been on stage in musicals every summer since the age of 5
(many thanks to Henry Eichman for giving him a great start!). Ben
loves performing in any capacity ...singing, dancing, acting, drumming,
presentations, etc. Ben would like to thank everyone for coming
to see the show!
Summer Becker
( Townsperson ) is from Topsham and has been a member of MYT for
four seasons. She loves acting, sorts, and babysitting her
younger niece.
Celeste
Bouthot (Villager) lives in Brunswick and has performed in three
other plays; Annie Jr, Willy Wonka Jr, and Gone with the Breeze.
Celeste would like to thank all of the people who helped put this
performance together.
Gabrielle Bouthot (Townsperson) lives in
Brunswick. Gabrielle would like to thank Henry for
directing/co-directing all her plays.
Teresa Murphy
(The Fiddler on the Roof) is from Brunswick. She enjoys playing
trumpet in the Wind Ensemble and the school concert band, running
track, and participating school plays. Teresa also loves Irish Step
Dancing with the Stillson School of Irish Dance and playing piano.
Teresa always looks forward to the Midcoast Youth Theatre plays every
summer. In the past, she has performed in Flapper, Once Upon This
Island, A Christmas Carol, Seussical and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate

Evan
Lichter (Rabbi). After appearances as a cast member in Seussical
and A Christmas Carol, and as a camera man in Willy Wonka, Evan appears
in Fiddler
as the Rabbi. Evan looks forward to every rehearsal because he loves
MYT as if it were family! Otherwise you'll see this actor on the soccer
fields or ski slopes when he's not voraciously reading, tackling math
homework, or pondering deep scientific questions
Azaria Dotson
(Townsperson ) is from Topsham and has been in three other MYT shows so
far (Seussical, A Christmas Carol, Willy Wonka) and hopes to be
in many more !
Emily Emerson (Townsperson ) is from Topsham.
Sarah Emerson ( Townsperson ) is from Topsham.
Corrinne Latti
( Townsperson ) is from Brunswick. This is Corrinne's
sixth MYT production. When Corrinne is not on the stage, you'll find
her behind a book, riding her bike and in the summer pulling her
lobster traps. She would like to thank all the stage moms for car rides
to and from rehearsals. She also wants to thank Henry and Pam for all
their hard work this summer. Enjoy the show!
Ali
Parker ( Hodel ) is from Topsham and has been in three other MYT
plays before this show. Ali loves soccer, skiing, and singing.
