to Become a
Member of MYT
Dear Friends of MYT
We encourage you to join the membership of Midcoast Youth Theater, we need your help and support. The membership fee is $25 due every May 12th. You may ask, why May 12? This date was chosen for its significance. This is the date this organization was officially founded (May 12, 2003).
We extend our Membership Invitation to adults who are committed to supporting this effort in a multitude of ways. Youth who participate in our theater are classified as acting members. While everyone is invited to MYT meetings and may participate and extend their voice, only current members whose dues are current may vote at the meetings.
The mission of Midcoast Youth Theater (MYT) is to empower youth through a save, nurturing theater experience, to build life skills with teamwork, creative problem solving, public speaking, risk taking and tolerance while enhancing self awareness and self esteem. MYT shall remain a youth focused charitable organization. MYT is different from other youth theater groups because "no child has ever been turned away".
